The Mezze Gift Set
Nabali olive oil paired with Olive and Tomato tapenades.
The Mezze Gift Set brings together two of Canaan's most loved products. The Wild Caper Olive Tapenade, Wild Caper Tomato Tapenade, and Canaan's Extra Virgin Regenerative Organic Nabali Olive Oil. Each item is made in small batches by local cooperatives using ingredients grown on family farms across the hills of Palestine. They capture the savory, rich, and bright tastes that define every Palestinian table.
With every set, a tree will be planted on your behalf in Palestine, connecting your home to the farmers who tend the soil that has sustained their families for centuries. Trees are planted during December, January, and February.
Each gift comes with a cotton bag printed with the proverb:
“They planted so we ate, we plant so they will eat.”
This set is a small gesture that carries meaning, a shared act of renewal between you and the land of Palestine that gives.
About the Products
Nabali Olive Oil is made from indigenous olive trees native to Palestine and cultivated according to agricultural traditions passed down for millennia. It is smooth, delicate, and lightly fruity, and has long been a household olive oil used across Palestinian kitchens.
Wild Caper Tomato Tapenade is made from wild-collected capers harvested from the hills of Palestine and blended with sun-dried tomatoes and olive oil. It reflects flavors traditionally found on the Palestinian mezze table.
Wild Caper Olive Tapenade combines those same wild capers with Nabali green olives, creating a tangy, savory ingredient rooted in everyday regional food traditions.
How to Serve
Serve the Nabali olive oil as a finishing oil for hummus, labneh, or fresh vegetables.
Use the olive tapenade and tomato tapenade as mezze spreads with bread, crackers, or alongside cheeses.
Pair all three as part of a mezze plate, served at room temperature.
