canaan living culture
The Canaanite's long-standing history of seeing life and the world we live in through the lens of fertility defines Palestinian culture to this day.

PHILOSOPHY
A tree feeding a community for thousands of years is nothing short of a miracle. In the land of Canaan, ancient wisdom fuels a vibrant agricultural tradition, rich in flavor and sustainability. Our calling is to steward this heritage, weaving the soul of Canaan and its people into a enduring future, where old wisdom lights the path for a thriving world

Fair Trade
Over 1,000 artisan family farms across 50 villages partner with us, carrying forward the rich Canaanite heritage through year-round engagement and long-term commitment. Rooted in fair trade principles, we ensure transparency, direct payments, fair prices, empowering traditional farming communities. As agriculture remains Palestine’s vital heartbeat, we strive to enhance its place in the modern economy by increasing farm returns, investing in community development, and fostering competitiveness in the marketplace. Our holistic model not only preserves this enduring agricultural legacy but also uplifts these communities.

Regenerative Organic
The ancient farmlands of our community are vibrant ecosystems teeming with biodiversity and heirloom varieties, passed down for generations and carefully propagated to preserve their legacy. Many olive trees, over 1,000 years old, stand as living testaments to this heritage. We celebrate and promote these time-honored permaculture traditions, fostering regenerative practices that nurture healthy soil, plants, animals, and microorganisms. By honoring these farms, we safeguard historic landscapes and rich, seasonal cuisine, ensuring food security, economic prosperity, and cultural integrity in harmony with nature.

Dr.NAsser abufarha
The Founder
Raised within the farmlands of Jenin, Palestine, Nasser grew up attuned to the land’s cycles, learning its lessons through local traditions and Canaanite expressions. After moving to the United States, he earned a Doctorate in Anthropology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His research revealed the olive tree’s deeper significance—not only as a source of oil but as a cornerstone of Palestinian identity, shaping both culture and landscape.
Inspired, Nasser wove Fair Trade principles and Regenerative Organic practices into a value chain of small family farms across Palestine. Through this, he crafted a vision—a living system where agriculture becomes a bridge, offering the world not just sustenance, but a model of harmony, resilience, and hope.
